About Our Billings Dental Practice

Mckay Pearson, DMD

Dr. McKay Pearson is a Montana native who grew up on his family farm in Fairfield, Montana. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Health Science at Brigham Young University-Idaho, Dr. Pearson went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Pearson and his wife Ashley have three children, Brinlee, Nora and Kenison. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Pearson enjoys playing basketball, golfing, camping, reading and spending time with his family.

David Clark, DDS

Dr. David Clark, his wife and their two children have loved living in the Billings area for the past five years, and they are excited to set deeper roots at Canyon Creek Dental. Dr. Clark loves fly fishing, freshwater aquariums, biking, camping, serving in his church and playing board games with his family. He’ll also jump on any opportunity to watch his children explore and grow.

Dr. Clark attended BYU for his undergraduate education, majoring in biology. He completed his dental degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Clark organized a free extraction clinic in Oklahoma City to help those in the community who otherwise couldn’t get dental treatment. Professionally, he feels it is his responsibility to make dentistry accessible and stress free. He approaches every day with a positive attitude and a desire uplift all who he encounters.

Christina Renova Marquez – Registered Dental Hygienist
Christina is a first-generation college student and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2019 with her bachelor’s in dental hygiene. She is committed to her patients and loves educating them, helping them achieve healthy smiles and providing them with great dental experiences! As a valuable team player and bilingual hygienist, Christina is an important part of what makes Canyon Creek Dental great!

Christina is a dedicated mom to her two cats, Jimmy and Bubbles. When she is not taking care of her patients, or her cats, you can find her visiting new places, spending time with family and flossing her teeth!

Julie Schmitt – Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie is originally from Glendive, Montana. In 1995, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education. Following this, she attended the North Dakota State College of Science Dental Hygiene Program in Wahpeton, ND, graduating in 2000 with her dental hygiene degree. Outside of the office, Julie enjoys camping, fishing and skiing.
